Job Duties:

• Reconciliation of customer accounts, including calling customers for payment
• Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
• Maintain thorough, well organized accounts receivable customer files
• Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash, etc.
• Investigate and resolve customer over/under payments
• Communicate with customers via phone, e-mail, mail or personally
• Help send statements to customers
• Post branch petty cash receipts, including cash and credit card transactions
• Document results of customer contacts. Track and follow-up on customer commitments
• Process and verify credit applications
• Track and investigate deductions (charge backs) from customer payments
• Process, transmit, and run credit card transactions for customer sales and refunds
• Process deposits through the "quick" deposit machine to our local bank
• Process customer requests for reprints or updated statements upon demand
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years' experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar position
