JOB DUTIES:

• Direct and coordinate company sales and marketing functions.
• Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology.
• Direct and oversee the company marketing function to identify and develop new customers for products and services.
• Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales methods, costs, results, and implement improvements as required.
• Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities.
• Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets.
• Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts and coordinate the management of all other accounts.
• Participate in the development of new project proposals.
• Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
• Supervise the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials.
• Represent the company at various business meetings to promote the company.
• Promote positive relations with vendors and partners.
• Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs.
• Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations.
• Provide an annual sales plan and provide quarterly updates, revisions, and modifications to the plan.
• Work with department managers and corporate staff to develop a five-year business plan for the company.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff.
• Coach, mentor, and raise the team's ability to deliver and exceed expectations.
• Must be able to control inventory.
• Responsible for ongoing training and development of sales staff, along with regular coaching and motivation of sales staff.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Ability to travel to other locations on a regular/ as needed basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's Degree or 10 years of related experience.
• Experience in the transportation industry is extremely beneficial but not required.
